So again its been a while... i have not been on in a while. i have had a crazy year and i do not have the internet. but good news i just got a new droid and not i have some access to the inernet now. there are still some problems i have to work out, such as i can not do capital letters or type numbers. but i will figure it out.
Happy New Year, everyone!! Not that there are many of you who still read, I've badly neglected my blog over the past 2 years. I'm so sorry. But I'm going to try to keep everyone up to date on what I'm doing.
Here's alittle background on my hobbies and things I'll be talking about in my blog. The first and formost is knitting. I love knitting, and I have yarn stashed all over my apartment, that no matter where you look there is going to be yarn some place close by.
I have a couple of projects I'm working on at the moment. Socks for myself, make from some cheapie sock yarn from Michaels. I'm just working a basic stockinette stitch toe up sock. I'm also part of a non-profit group called Sock for Soldiers. This group sends all sorts of things over to the soldiers in the Middle East. Even if you don't knit there are other ways to donate and help out. Please check it out.
My second love to knitting is makeup artistry. I will probably be playing areound with makeup and post some photos of my creations. I like to try new things and I like to recreate celebrity looks. Spring will be here before you know it so keep a look out for some bright springy makeup.
And third, amature cooking skills... I have none. But I do love to cook. In the past I've mostly did alot of baking (having taken all 3 Wilton Cake Decorating classes) I've make all sorts of cool cakes. I asked for the Joy of Cooking cookbook for Xmas, and Santa brought it for me. So I will be trying out alot of recipes from my new cookbook. This cooking plan will also help me eat better, I'm trying to stay away from fast food.
So those are mainy the things that I will be talking about here. I forgot, I sew also, so I'll talk about that too. And my adventures with my kitties, mom, friends, school and work.
